Violinist Bonnie Foti graduated from the Crane School of Music receiving a BM in Music Education
and an MA at Dowling College.
She taught Orchestra in the Brentwood School District for ten years and currently is home with her
four children. As a violinist, Bonnie has played with the West Islip
Symphony and the Sound Symphony in addition to The Lyrical String Quartet
she is teaching privately and playing in various chamber groups around the
Long Island area. |

Robin Maddox has been performing for thirty years as a professional violinist with local orchestras and various chamber groups, including the Ovation String Quartet, Lyrical String Quartet and numerous weddings with her husband, who plays trumpet, keyboards and Irish whistle. She holds BS and MS degrees in Music Education from Queens College , CUNY (Aaron Copland School of Music).
For the past twenty-five years, Mrs. Maddox has been director of the orchestral music program at Herricks High School in New Hyde Park, NY, where her orchestras have received national acclaim and recognition. |

Violist Ricardo Garcia graduated with a BM in Music Education from the Crane School of Music where he studied violin and viola with Ruth Iogha. He has an MA in Musicology from C.W. Post College, where he studied with Dale Stuckenbruck and Bernard Zeller.
He has fifteen years experience in orchestras and string ensembles and has performed in the West Islip Symphony and NY Pro-Arte Orchestras among others. He currently
teaching in the public schools in addition to
teaching privately on Long Island
and as an active NY area violist and violinist. |

Cellist Theresa Poland graduated with a BS in Music Education from Dowling College and an MA in Music Education from C.W.Post College. She has over 20 years experience in orchestras and string ensembles.
Presently she is principal cellist with the West Islip Symphony and Dowling College Community Orchestras.
Her quartet experience spans 22 years, first with the Ovation String Quartet, then the Sonic String Quartet and now
with The Lyrical String Quartet. |
